Short Note was created out of a need to have a light weight note taking application that would just work out of the box without the need for an internet connection and good reception. Shorter notes meant that each note had to be condensed down to the essential message without extra fluff. Each message is only 200 characters maximum, originally the concept was to only allow 7 notes at any given time with a feature to delete all notes at once, something that I find useful because many notes stay dormant longer than their useful life. But that was later changed due to the request of several of our users.
LOLPETS is an app designed out of my passion and love for my dogs. I wanted to share pictures of my dogs doing silly things on a platform that wasn't also showing images of landscape, fashion, and other topics. A more simple, straight forward pet sharing platform makes things flatter and less convoluted. The app takes pieces out of Google's Material Design elements, and uses Firebase Backend-as-a-Service to store and display data while using RecyclerViews to scroll through Objects.
One of the earliest websites I built out for a client, who wanted a simple, clean, and fresh look for their new restaurant. The intention of their website was to showcase their menu offerings without having too many distractions, and also offer directions and store hours for anyone who needed extra information about the restaurant. Links on the webpage allowed users to contact the restaurant owner directly either through messages or initiating the phone's dialer if the user was viewing the site on a mobile device.
An online e-commerce website built on top of Shopify for a client, the website includes installation of a custom theme and edits, uploading category and product images as well as descriptions for each product. The client was looking for a complete online retail solution, using Shopify allowed them to easily integrate catalog, order processing, and fulfillment in one at a reasonable cost.
